Membership and Participation

Find the right information before making an application.

The We Alliance Party welcomes enquiries about membership, volunteering and lawful participation in party activities. The information on this page is intended to explain the process clearly. Formal membership and nomination decisions follow the party’s legally effective constitution, applicable legislation and official procedures.

Interested in joining TWAP?

Prospective members should receive clear information about eligibility, the nature of membership, the information requested, available rights, relevant obligations and how an application will be considered. Applicants should be told when a submission is received and what further verification may be required.

  • Read the current party membership requirements and official constitution.
  • Understand how your personal information will be used, stored and shared where lawful.
  • Submit only the information necessary for the application process.
  • Keep your reference or confirmation; a website submission is not automatically proof of inclusion in a certified register.
  • Use the stated contact channel to enquire about status, corrections or withdrawal.

Volunteering and community participation

There are different ways to contribute to party programmes, public discussions and administrative activities. Volunteer opportunities should have clear roles, safeguarding arrangements and contact details. No individual should be required to provide unnecessary sensitive data simply to enquire about volunteering.

Information for prospective aspirants

An expression of interest does not constitute nomination, clearance or a guarantee of a party ticket. When appropriate, TWAP should publish official positions open for application, eligibility criteria, documents, fees or waivers, timelines, vetting procedures, objections and dispute channels. No nomination window should be displayed as open without an authorised notice.

Membership rights, corrections and complaints

Members should be able to find the correct party office for requests relating to membership status, record corrections, internal participation and applicable dispute procedures. Access to any member-only record must be properly authenticated and restricted.

Data protection matters

Membership and electoral information may be sensitive. TWAP should publish a current privacy notice, obtain lawful and appropriately specific consent where required, protect submissions from unauthorized access and provide a clear way to exercise applicable data-subject rights. The current public registration forms require a separate technical and privacy review before being promoted as fully verified.

The party will issue dated, authorized notices when any official nomination process opens. Submitting a preliminary enquiry does not guarantee nomination or membership.

Ready to take the next step?

Use the existing TWAP application channels. Submitting an online form does not automatically confirm registration or nomination.
